Our Australian based Client engaged Hanrahan Smith to identify suitably qualified and experienced candidates for this key, newly created appointment. The position reports to the Executive Chairman and is responsible for leading and driving the Company’s exploration and mineral resource development function, and be responsible for the development, management and implementation of the Businesses’ Geological growth strategies including near mine and exploration geological programs. The priority was to manage and develop the Company’s portfolio of programs and to identify new Mineral Resource growth opportunities in the Asia Pacific region.

The successful candidate was BSc (Geology) qualified coupled with significant experience working in that part of the world.
